Jeff Baker Woodworks is a furniture company committed to producing premium one-of-a-kind products made with sustainable and reclaimed materials.

Why it’s Better!

We understands that consumers no longer shop only on price and quality alone, they want to know that the goods they are buying are created by companies who consider the social & environmental impact of their products.

At Jeff Baker Woodworks these concepts are not just an after thought, it is the reason we do what we do.

Quality Heirloom Furniture

Focusing on using traditional wood to wood joinery & historically proven methods such as mortise-and-tenon and solid dovetail construction ensures you will have a piece that will last a lifetime.

Sustainable Eco-Practices

We are dedicated to using sustainable & reclaimed materials in our furniture. Striving for a ‘0’ waste shop through fabrication practices – Reducing the stress on landfills & deforestation.

My exploration in furniture and woodworking started at a young age, my formal studies in Calgary offered me the opportunity to really explore the limits between furniture and sculpture, exploring the use of mixed mediums as well. Now back to my Uxbridge roots I am continuing my journey with reclaimed wood, producing one of a kind custom pieces of furniture, art and house wares as owner and maker of Jeff Baker WoodWorks.

I have honed my skills under several craftsmen and sculptors alike, the most important thing I’ve learned is to listen to the material,  “let the piece tell you what it wants to be”. Each piece I hand pick tells a story, blending the history and imperfect beauty of reclaimed materials with the new.

Much like wood itself my work takes many forms. All of my creations are Custom, one of a kind pieces that can find themselves in rustic and contemporary spaces alike.

I live to work and my process of fabrication is my life. Using solid wood to wood joinery, I strive to reduce through innovation, to create and to find beauty in all things around me.
